Draft Dog and Cat Management Plan

Have your say! How would you make City of Prospect more pet friendly?

Did you know that Australia has one of the highest rates of pet ownership in the world, with around 62% of households owning a pet?

Dogs and cats are a popular choice and to assist councils with providing facilities and services that encourage responsible pet ownership, as well as manage unexpected issues that may arise. All councils are required to have an Animal Management Plan, which includes provisions for areas where dogs may be exercised off leash.

Council has developed a draft Animal Management Plan and is seeking your feedback. Obtaining feedback helps to identify issues and priorities important to our community which will shape the plan and influence decisions on what to include.
