What happens at a Council Meeting?

Council Meetings 

Held on the first Tuesday of each month (excluding public holidays) meetings of Council and Workshops are held on Tuesday of each month (excluding public holidays) conducted at the Civic Centre. 128 Prospect Road, Prospect.Meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome.

Anyone can go to a Council or Committee meeting to listen to what is talked about and the decisions that are made. Minutes of Council and Committee meetings, and reports about how Council affairs are managed, are available to the public to read.


Meeting times

Council Workshops

Councillor Information and Workshop Sessions are held on the first and second Tuesday of the month starting at 6.15 pm (except for January) at the Prospect Petanque Club, 14-32 Buchanan Street, Nailsworth SA 5082

Council Assessment Panel

The Council Assessment Panel (CAP) meets on the second Monday of the month starting at 5.30 pm (unless this date falls on a public holiday and then an alternative date will be selected if required) at the Prospect Library, 1 Thomas Street Nailsworth SA  5082

Full Council Meetings

Meetings of the full Council are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month starting at 7.00 pm at the Nailsworth Community Hall, 31 D'Erlanger Ave, Collinswood SA 5081

Audit Committee

Audit Committee is held at least four times a year at appropriate times in the reporting and audit cycle as required.

Strategic Planning & Development Policies Committee

Meets as required.
